Halloween

Halloween was alot of fun this year!  We carved a kitty cat pumpkin, went to the Mountain Brook Halloween parade and trick or treated with our sweet friends, the Beasons.

Emalyn wasn't sure what to think of the pumpkin "guts"

Adair loved scooping out the seeds and "guts"

Adair had fun at her Halloween parade at school.
She loved jumping out of line each round to kiss Myla Grant.

Emalyn had fun at her Halloween party, too.

Visit to the Bells

We had so much fun visiting our friends, the Bells.  Our girls are all close in age and sweet friends.  It is always a pleasure to spend time with them!  We spent the weekend at their house in Franklin, Tennessee.  The girls had a blast playing and we visited an awesome farm with hay mazes, animals, corn and wheat boxes and pumpkins.

Adair's Pumpkin Patch Field Trip

Being in 4K comes with privileges like field trips!  Adair and her classmates had a great time exploring Old Baker Farm, taking a hayride and picking out their pumpkins.

Emalyn: Eight Months in Our Arms

Time is flying by around here!  It's cliche, but I cannot believe we've had Emalyn in our arms for eight months! The Fall is bringing many new experiences for Emalyn.  She loves discovering new things and learning.

Does she look quilty here or just super sweet?  I can't decide.

Impossible to get them all smiling, so silliness it is.

Myla Grant is Six Months Old

It's hard to believe it has been six months since Myla Grant came into our family!  At her six month check up she weighed 18 pounds, 12 ounces (90%) and was 25 1/2 inches long (50%).  She is at such a fun stage.  At five months, she finally started rolling over from her back to her tummy.  Now, she is beginning to sit up for short periods of time, but she still can't roll over from her tummy to her back and she seems pretty content with that.  She is babbling, blowing bubbles and loving any fun mouth noise she discovers she can do.  She reaches for toys and faces now and is becoming very loving as she discovers more she can do with her hands.  She is grasping toys and exploring them.  Her favorite toy is Sophie the (plastic) giraffe.  Her face lights up when we pull Sophie out.  For the better part of her last six months, she has not taken a pacifier, however, now that she can take it in and out of her mouth, she has become a bigger fan of it.  We are so thankful for the fun we have had over these last six months.  Getting to know our third daughter and watching her blossom has been amazing.  We thank God for the precious gift of our sweet Myla Grant.

Adair loves to do silly things to entertain Myla Grant.

Five and a half months: First taste of baby food.  We started with pears
and after she got used to the spoon she loved it!

Adair and Emalyn were thrilled for Myla Grant to "start school".

Annual Pumpkin Patch Visit with the Tillery Family

Each year we visit the pumpkin patch with our precious friends, the Tillerys.  Hollie and I have been best friends for 19 years (yikes!).  Our children love each other so much and it warms our hearts to see them interact and enjoy each other, even though they don't see each other often enough.

This was also Emalyn, Myla Grant and Levi's first visit to the pumpkin patch.  Emalyn loved it!  She followed the big girls around and did everything they did (and more).  The littlest in the group just chilled out and went with the flow.  We are both thankful for our laid back third children!
